TASK
WEEK 1
We haven't finished the groups yet.
WEEK 2 - Contextual Research
In the first week, we are required to complete contextual research. This section is nothing about designing yet, as emphasised by Mr. Mike.
For the contextual research, Mr. Mike created a MIRO board for every group, and we only have to dump in our findings and ideas in the space provided.
Mike wanted us to know more about the application scope and types of AR, so we did some research on AR. Mike also explained to us the different types of AR and the difference between VPS and GPS through some videos and websites.
I then came up with a very preliminary flowchart for this application
My team member Anandya Saputra found a great example video.
At the same time, Mike told us that we couldn’t use GPS navigation, so we needed to find some keywords and ideas to solve these problems.
After class, our team leader summarized some problems that occurred during the class and the work that needs to be completed.
1. The benefits of Ar Walk to help us complete taylors
2. The advantages and disadvantages of Ar Walk
3. Understanding AR in the new world
4. Immersive storytelling
Task to do this week
1. Research in miro
2. And questions to ask our interviews , online or face to face
WEEK 3 - Questionnaire
In our main discussion questionnaire this week, we gave the discussion questions to Mike, who told us that we needed a maximum of 20 questions, 3-4 demographic questions (age, gender, job position/type of work, urban/rural residence, income)
When designing the questionnaire, we need to know 2 questions first
-2-3 research goals (agreed and discussed by the group members)
-The type of AR we want to achieve (using Adobe Aero or Unity)

After discussion, we determined the research objectives.
Research Objectives:
Explore augmented reality (AR) experiences that simulate life and enhance student development.
1. AR’s perspective on future campus vibrancy and activity levels that are typically focused on weekends or open days.
2. Evaluate the role of interactive AR features (e.g., simulated classrooms and iconic campus virtual objects) in building emotional connections and positive impressions of the institution.
3. Understand the impact of AR experiences on future student enrollment actions compared to traditional campus visits and other marketing strategies.
WEEK 4 - Questionnaire
This week, following Mike’s suggestion from last week, we created surveys using Google Form.
Mike raised some key questions after reading the questionnaire.
1. Our questions do not have pictures to illustrate, and users may not understand these professional terms.
2. After the entire questionnaire, we cannot understand the user's understanding of AR, which may lead to unsatisfactory data later.
3. The answers to some questions are not useful for this project.
WEEK 5 - Questionnaire
After Mike's suggestion, we realized that not all users have a clear understanding of AR. Some users may not know what AR is at all and may not have used AR. Therefore, we need to increase our understanding of AR. In order to facilitate users' understanding, we also added a lot of pictures to the questionnaire.

Then we got the final questionnaire
Regarding the data requirements for questionnaire collection
-At least 20 people are needed for each person.
-5 people are needed for each age group.
The final data we collected.
WEEK 6 -User Persona
This week, we started working on user personas. Our group started by choosing one persona. We had a lot of discussion and debate about the personas, and then Mike told us that we had seen too many personas, so we ended up choosing only three.
We each wrote a portion of the empathy map and finalized it after discussion and consultation with Mike.
WEEK 7 -User Persona
This week we completed the USER JOURNEY MAP and character stories for these three characters.
This is the USER JOURNEY MAP of the three characters.
This is the story of three characters.

We have also learn how to collect data from personas and clients and do empathy map the correct way.
this week also did study on our question survey research and get the analytics from it.
We made a simple wireframe mockup to test.
WEEK 9 - Presentation Preparation
Let’s first separate the most important part
-Problem statement
-Project goals
-Section on user personas and USER JOURNEY MAP
-Survey insights
-Target audience
-AR experience features
We then encountered some difficulties with the AR part, and Mike answered our questions in the group.
WEEk 10 -Presentation
We divided all the parts in the WhatsApp group and then prepared for the presentation.
Emapthy G7
After the presen speech, we realized that the AR direction we are heading in is wrong. We are moving towards VR, and we cannot use a full 3D model approach.
WEEK 11
This week we presented a more complete line drawing to Mike.
Our main concern was with AR, and since we couldn’t use full 3D models, we decided to use 360-degree videos and pictures to help us, and we also found some relevant examples and references to help us illustrate.
WEEk 12
According to last week’s feedback and tasks, we handed the completed results to Mike.
-Flowchrat
After this report, we got three new problems to solve.
WEEK 13
We came up with three ideas to solve these problems.
Mike told us that we did not do well in the first step regarding the flowchart, so now we need to go back to the first step before we can complete the next few steps. Therefore, our time is very tight and we need to complete the next tasks quickly.
Feedback:
At the same time, this also helps us to clarify the next task. For example, if we need 360-degree videos and pictures on YouTube and major websites, they don’t have to be from Taylor University, as long as they are similar. At the same time, we can shoot a video at Taylor University, which can help us complete the demonstration of VPS.
